Message: “Dangerous Prayers: Make Me Bold” from Marc Black

A message from the series “Dangerous Prayers.” Praying “search me” is hard but the result is that it makes me better. A second dangerous prayer that may be even harder to pray is “break me”. An important final dangerous prayer is “send me—use me in your mission” or complimentary is “make me bold—help me fulfill your mission”!

The first two prayers are INTERNALLY focused. This final dangerous prayer is EXTERNALLY focused. God is working in and thru me for his glory and renown.

Dangerous prayers are challenging to say. They have potential to redirect our lives. Why? Following Jesus is never safe! We are called to a life of faith not a life of comfort!

This message is inspired by the Dangerous Prayers book and sermon series by Craig Groechel.

Message: “AND” from Marc Black

A message from the series “Home Alone 2020.” God is for me. The thing I need to remember is that God is not only for me but He is for everyone. I need to make sure that I am going after all that God has for me while simultaneously giving it all away.

Message: “The best is yet to come” from Marc Black

A message from the series “Home Alone 2020.” It is seven days before we remember the arrival of the Holy Spirit on the day of Pentecost. For the ten days between Jesus’ ascension and the arrival of the Spirit, the first generation of Christians were instructed to wait. And wait they did because the result was worth the wait.

We do not like to wait but sometime all we can do is wait. In our waiting, God is still working. So don’t waste the wait. Make the most of the unique moments you are experiencing. Why? The best is yet to come!

Message: “Love Well” from Marc Black

A message from the series “Home Alone 2020.” It’s another quarantine Sunday and we continue our study of the Book of James. This week is James 2:1-13. Stay safe. Have a great week. And remember, you matter to God.

It is important that we LOVE WELL.
• People always remember how they FEEL when they are around us.
• How we TREAT people is as important as what we SAY to people.

Message: “Be a big doer (not a big talker)” from Marc Black

A message from the series “Home Alone 2020.” A common tension we all manage is our interaction and communication with other people. One area that quickly reveals how much I value or devalue people is how I talk to and about them. I need to treat people well!

Relationships matter because people matter! So, I prioritize building healthy relationships with people and a fulfilling relationship with God

Message: “Wise Living” from Marc Black

A message from the series “Home Alone 2020.” No matter what stage in life we find ourselves, we need wisdom. The decisions made and the guidance given might be different but the need for wisdom is still the same.
